Imagine offering your students the opportunity to enjoy 170 Spanish-language titles that are both enjoyable and appropriate for their individual reading level. That’s what you’ll get when you add the E–J Guided Reading Kit to your classroom or school library.

Books in this kit include both fiction and nonfiction and range from endearing stories to quirky poetry and rhymes, such as El canto del mosquito by renowned author Alma Flor Ada. Other authors and illustrators from around the Spanish-speaking world that readers will appreciate include Toño Malpica, Claudia Rueda, and Liliana Cinetto.

One of the best examples of the talent you’ll find in this kit is Andrés Pi Andreu’s heartwarming picture book Los colores del cielo, featuring the enchanting illustrations of Lucrecia Aráoz. The story follows a mom and a son who, through the simple act of asking and answering questions, learn to accept and appreciate people’s differences.

You’ll also receive the finest Spanish-language translations of popular titles with which students may already be familiar. They can enjoy several books from the acclaimed series A de Ámbar by Paula Danzinger. Ámbar is a remarkable character whose challenges and spunk will inspire kids like her. Students can also learn and explore with the popular character Caillou in titles such as Caillou en el dentista, Caillou en la biblioteca, and Caillou mi primer paseo.
