Vista Higher Learning (VHL) is proud to announce the winners of its 2025-2026 Future Language Educators scholarship program. In total, VHL awarded $9,000 in scholarships to two high school seniors and seven higher education students who have shown a desire to pursue a career in language education.
The winners were selected by committees set up by the five U.S.-based world language regional organizations—NECTFL, SCOLT, SWCOLT, Central States, and PNCFL—and awards were presented at each of their national conferences.

About the Vista Higher Learning Future Language Educator Scholarship
The focus on this award is to reward exemplary K–12 and higher education students who plan to pursue a career in world languages teaching with a $1,000 scholarship.
Promoting a rich world languages program gives students who wish to teach in the discipline a solid foundation upon which to build a fruitful and rewarding career. To that end, Vista Higher Learning, the market leader for language learning solutions, worked with the top regional language associations in the US to award ten scholarships to students who show considerable potential in learning one or more languages and who plan to become language educators. Vista Higher Learning partnered with the following organizations:
- Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL)
- Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT)
- Central States Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (Cenrtal States)
- Pacific Northwest Conference of Foreign Language (PNCFL)
- Southwest Conference on Language Teaching (SWCOLT)

We also offer materials in English Literacy and Language Development for current and future instructors in the K–12 ELL classroom. Now, we’re taking the next logical step in promoting language fluency by offering scholarships to future language educators.
