This past summer, many faculty and students had the opportunity to go abroad and participate in their school Summer Abroad Program.
During these trips, photos captured wonderful moments and memories. Enjoy!

“What a great day the CIEE Berlin group had visiting Charlottenburg Palace. It was special because it was just our language level group on our own that day. It was great seeing the Rococo architecture and art exhibits which inspired the students to learn more about German history and culture.”
Kathy Weingand – Instructor of German
Oklahoma Baptist University
“Yes! 2022 was only the second summer that Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) Honors department and the Go-Outreach office collaborated to send honor students to Ecuador so that not only they would study abroad, but also reach out to the community. For almost a month, honor students painted, cleaned, cooked, taught children, helped in hospitals, and served wherever they were needed. In this picture OBU honor students are helping a nonprofit, “Pan de Vida” (Bread of Life), with much needed work! WE are future shapers!”
Dr. Lyda Wilbur – Assistant Spanish Professor
Mercer University
“During the summer of 2023, Mercer Students study and service the community in Puebla, Mexico. This picture represents the beginning of the cultural experience. Faculty and students explore the capital city of Puebla before immersing in the service project. Here students are learning about the local art in Puebla in the Arts District.”
Libertad Aranza – Lecture of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature
College of Charleston
“This was a flamenco show in a cave in Granada, Spain. The kids loved it, and we spent the rest of the summer working on our dance techniques!”
