Los verbos en tiempo presente se utilizan para describir acciones que tienen lugar en el momento del habla. También se emplean para referirse a actividades habituales y/o cotidianas. En algunos casos, el presente es usado para presentar acciones que tendrán lugar en el futuro.
La conjugación de los verbos en tiempo presente depende del infinitivo y sigue el siguiente modelo:
