Hispanic Heritage Month has just begun, and we’re celebrating these next couple of weeks by blasting some of our favorite songs. Here are eight songs to add to your celebratory jams playlist!

“La Vida es un Carnaval” by Celia Cruz is a song that celebrate Hispanic Heritage Culture
If you’re browsing through a playlist that celebrates Hispanic Heritage culture, rest assured that the Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz, will make an appearance, along with one of her most popular songs: “La Vida es un Carnaval.”
“La Bicicleta” by Shakira and Carlos Vives
The song won five awards in the span of only two years. People of Colombia believe that the song is a mix of various music genres.
“La Gozadera” by Gente de Zona and Marc Anthony
Looking for a feel-good song to jam out to? Nothing says “Estoy orgulloso(a) de ser latinx” like Gente de Zona’s “La Gozadera.”
“Havana” by Camila Cabello

One of the most beloved icons of the late twentieth century, Selena Quintanilla-Perez is known as the Queen of Tejano. She passed away years ago, but hispanic culture today continues celebrating her music and spirit
“La Guagua” by Juan Luis Guerra
No Hispanic Heritage playlist would be complete without Juan Luis Guerra. Latin individuals of all ages continues playing his music, there’s no song as catchy as JLG’s “La Guagua.”
