Whether you’re celebrating a special someone, a family member, or a friend, Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to show those around you how much you care for them. Today, we are sharing five important messages to help you reflect today.
#1- “Love doesn’t make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.”
—Franklin P. Jones
There are dozens of things that make life worth living, but nothing is as great as our loved ones. Whether it’s a parent, sibling, best friend, or partner, make sure to remind the special people in your life how much they mean to you.
#2- “Love is the greatest refreshment in life.”
—Pablo Picasso
Love comes in all shapes and sizes, but there is no denying that with it comes laughter and lots of cherished memories. Without our loved ones, life would be dull and unexciting.
#3- “Rare as is true love, true friendship is rarer.”
—Jean de La Fontaine
What’s life without true friendship—the best-kept secrets, the smiles, and even the fights? True friendship is having someone to share life with, laugh with, and lean on. Life without friendship just wouldn’t be the same.
#4- “Love isn’t something you find. Love is something that finds you.”
—Loretta Young
While it’s normal for those without significant others to feel left out on February 14, it’s important to remember that the best kind of love happens unexpectedly. This kind of love—the one that is worth waiting for—cannot be forced or rushed.
#5- “The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.”
—Audrey Hepburn
The greatest thing to remember is to spend time with your loved ones, appreciate them, and make sure they know they’re valued.
